Since living here in Nicaragua, I’ve learned very quickly that a series of fireworks go off at various times of the day and unfailingly at 6:30 every morning for about 15 minutes. In order to make sure I hear my alarm, which I really don’t need anymore since I get woken up at 5:30AM anyway by my siblings, I’m proud to announce that I have officially graduated using earplugs.
Thanks to Ashlee Pool and Scott Burt for my birthday card, and Leigh Poirier Ball for the steady flow of postcards that always brighten my day!
